The Emotional Intelligence Model
OBJECTIVE:
'Emotional intelligence begins to develop when you rest in the understanding that we are far more than our thoughts, and far more than our feelings.' - Joshua Freedman
A mental model focusing on enhancing empathetic communication, understanding and managing emotions in a positive way
The Emotional Intelligence (EI) model, proposed by Daniel Goleman, is divided into four domains: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management. As a CPO and a storyteller, this model helps in creating narratives that engage emotionally with your audience. In your personal life, it can help you understand, respond to, and connect with women, thereby improving your relationships. For example, showing genuine interest, understanding their feelings and views (Social Awareness), and responding empathetically can all build a more meaningful connection.
