AIDA Model

AIDA is a classic marketing model describing four stages a consumer typically goes through when they're considering a product or service: Attention, Interest, Desire, Action.
The AIDA model breaks down the journey a customer typically takes to a purchase into four stages and is typically used in marketing to influence decision-making. Here's an example: In running a marketing campaign for a new phone, the marketer first creates an eye-catching ad (Attention), a product demo video (Interest), a list of unique features that rivals don't provide (Desire), and a limited time discount offer (Action). This helps the potential customer move smoothly from gaining knowledge about the product to final purchase.
The aim of marketing is to get people to know, like, trust you - and then become your customers. The AIDA model helps guide this journey - Unattributed
