The Eisenhower Matrix is a productivity tool that helps prioritize tasks by urgency and importance, resulting in four quadrants with different work strategies.
This model allows for effective time management by classifying tasks into four categories: urgent and important, important but not urgent, urgent but not important, and not urgent or important.
For example, an upcoming deadline for a project is both urgent and important, and it should be done immediately. Exercise, being important but not urgent, should be scheduled. Answering some emails may appear urgent but not important, thus could be delegated. Lastly, activities like aimless social media browsing are neither urgent nor important, and should therefore be limited or avoided.
