Storyboarding: Planning and Executing Creative Projects

Storyboarding is a visual representation outlining the sequence of events in a creative project. It helps comprehensively organize ideas and materials before execution.
Similar to a comic strip, storyboarding breaks down every action into individual frames with an aim to visually represent the sequence of elements in a creative project. Each frame outlines a particular event or series of interactions, complete with details regarding visual cues, narrations, or responses. For example, in creating a movie or an advertisement, a storyboard will detail every scene, character action, dialogue, emotion, and even camera angle to effectively communicate the director's vision. This offers an excellent preview and aids in identifying and rectifying potential inefficiencies or errors in the timeline, dialogues, or direction before filming.
A storyboard is the step before filming which is so detailed, it's almost like filming - Ridley Scott
