The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method where work is divided into 25-minute intervals separated by short breaks to enhance productivity and reduce work-related stress.
The Pomodoro Technique is a productivity system that helps people to work with the time they have—rather than against it. Using this method, you break your workday into 25-minute chunks separated by five-minute breaks. After completing four Pomodoros, take a longer break of 15-30 minutes. This regimen is designed to help maintain focus, push productivity, and reduce feelings of overwhelm and burnout by giving your brain time to rest and 'reset' between tasks. For instance, if you have a series of tasks to do in a day, you can allocate a certain number of Pomodoros to each task and work towards completing them. The consistent rhythm and frequent breaks keep you energetic and prevent fatigue.
You can't make more time, but with the Pomodoro Technique, you can make your time work for you - Francesco Cirillo, inventor of the Pomodoro Technique
